The Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) is a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification for local council officers and clerks in England and Wales.
SALC has now launched a programme of support workshops following a review of the Portfolio Guide which takes place every five years to ensure it remains relevant, meets the current standards and criteria and reflects the latest legislative landscape.
SALC's CEO, Sally Longmate, is a CiLCA Recognised Trainer and changes to the Guide include the fact that training is now mandatory.
