It is important to stay on top of your tax code. If you notice that your tax code (visible on your payslip) has been changed or you don't agree with the tax deductions or tax refunds within your pay period, it is important you take action. 

You can access your personal tax account here. If you are not yet registered, I recommend you do so. On this HMRC portal you should be able to see all of your employments. If any of the details are missing or incorrect, you can edit these details and submit them directly to HMRC. There is also lots of helpful information and contact information, if you need any further support with this.

Take action now to avoid having to pay anything back to HMRC at year end.
