Suffolk Highways is committed to working with the Suffolk Association of Local Councils (SALC) to share information with town and parish councils relating to highway activities to:
-
Provide improved information relating to activities undertaken by the highway service
-
To support town and parish councils’ knowledge of what we do and do not do
-
To enable town and parish councils with sharing information with the wider Suffolk Community.
These forums are held online and generally will involve a set of slides that are presented.
SALC supports the forums and will ask participants for questions relating to the subject beforehand and provide these to Suffolk Highways. This can support tailoring slides, creating a set of FAQs or enabling the presenter to respond to common questions before taking questions from the audience.SALC will record the forums and host this on their website. It will also be available for Suffolk Highways to link to from our website to increase coverage of the forums and the information provided.
